We offer unique ceramics courses, guided open workshops, custom courses for groups, ceramics firing services, clay and supplies sales, and professional staff to advise you on how to successfully complete your work. With over 30 years of experience in ceramics and strong expertise, we have a lot to offer.

Turun Tuulenpesä is a cooperative led by ceramist Anu Nurminoro and visual artist Mari Erävaara. We have a wide range of tools for teaching, several potter’s wheels for student use, and a comprehensive selection of different clays and glazes for students to use. The duo are artistically active and can also advise on the secrets of ceramic sculpture. We also have a raku kiln for student use. Anu and Mari are trained clay builders and teach clay plastering and clay painting in addition to ceramics.
